Professor Samuel Chisa Dike is currently an Associate Dean and Head of Department, Public Law Department in the Faculty of Law Rivers State University and the managing partner of Professor S.C. Dike and Co Law Partners situate in Port Harcourt. He was the immediate past Head of Department of Public Law, Rivers State University.
He is also a Professor of Energy and Comparative Environmental Law. He obtained his LL.B and LL.M from the Rivers State University in 1987 and 1997 respectively and a PhD from the prestigious University of Aberdeen, UK in 2014. He is an associate member of International Petroleum Negotiators and Energy Institute, all in UK and a member of Chattered Institute of Arbitrators of Scotland. Professor Dike has published well over seventy articles within and outside Nigeria and seven text books. He has presented papers in many conferences and workshops beyond the shores of Nigeria mainly on energy, environmental law, maritime, renewable energy, solid mineral law, nuclear energy law and corporate governance related subjects. He is equally both a member of Nigerian Association of Law Teachers and Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt branch. He is the Managing Director Global Research Support Limited and also a Notary Public of Nigeria and called to the Nigerian Bar since 1988. He is the President and Founder Association of Environmental lawyers of Nigeria.
